Croeso i Dosbarth Tor Bay!
Welcome to the Summer Term 2024.
Our topic for Summer term is 'Happy and Healthy- Mindfulness'.
Our Class is made up of 6 pupils aged between 14-16. We are based in the Upper School building in the Key Stage 4 Department.
Mrs Tippett is our class teacher. Mrs Hadfield is our lead teacher assistant. Miss Lewis, Miss Halfpenny and Miss Ford are our teaching assistants.
Our whole school topic this term is “Happy and Healthy” our department will be focusing on 'Mindfulness' for the term. We will work towards various Statements of What Matters for the six Areas of Learning and Experience from the Curriculum of Wales.
During each week we will be doing regular activities such as art, Attention All, Communication, cookery, life skills, PE, and class trips.
Pupils will work towards their Progress Targets during all weekly sessions but specifically during our skills sessions.
We will also be exploring and celebrating a range of festivals and events through the term in different ways.
