Welcome to Dosbarth Rotherslade.
Our class is made up of 6 pupils between years 7 and 9. We are based in the Lower School building and fall under the Primary Department.
Our Summer Term topic is 'Happy and Healthy' and we will have a subfocus of 'movement'. We will look at developing our gross and fine motor skills and being in control of our body and movements. We will be paying close attention to our feelings and what makes us happy as well as our body healthy.
We will cover this topic through activities such as Art, Cookery, Science, Attention All, Sensology, Music and PE.
We will continue working on our communication, literacy and numeracy and have individualised skills sessions working on our target outcomes.
On Wednesday mornings we have swimming in Pontardawe pool and on Thursdays we have PE with Mr Weaver.
Our star of the week assembly takes place on a Friday morning.
Our class teacher is Miss Hodson and our pupils will be supported by Mrs Gilbert and Mrs Lloyd-Davies
