There is some exciting events happening this term including our residential trip to Borfa, our open event, prom, work experience week, sports day, end of term trip, and our leavers assembly!
In the sixth form we like pupils to have autonomy over their learning, so pupils can choose what they would like to do in things such as Health and Wellbeing days and Skills for life days.
Every Thursday we will have a Health and Wellbeing day with a variety of options for pupils to choose from such as Dance, PE, Swimming, Gym, Trips, Touch trust, Local Walks, Rounders, and Tennis.
We have different external groups going on such as choir, film skills, guitar club, construction, PE, Duke of Edinburgh and production design.
Pupils have also chosen a skills for life option which focuses on work skills such as hair dressing, Design and Technology and working with a 3D printer, ICT, childcare, and gardening.
We will be following a life skills curriculum with a focus on work skills to prepare pupils for life after PYB.
Our Pupil Progress Targets will be taught daily and as part of our routine.
We will post a weekly dojo post with photos to show what the pupils have done that week and share any relevant information with you.
